Victorian terrace

Using mostly reclaimed materials this garden was created in a naturalistic way. The original Victorian terracotta pavers were cleaned and re used making them a wonderful extension to the surrounding walls contrasting the darker sandstone. Steel edging transitions you from one level to another smoothly which rusts gradually complimenting the pinky clay tones. We used sustainably sourced Douglas Fir strips of different widths for the fencing which take it in turns to under and overlap adding some shadow and depth. Planting of various exotic species and grasses invite insects and life.
