Modest courtyard garden
Located on a quiet street near St Andrews park this modest town garden was once a lawn with aged decking. Vande Moortel clay pavers were laid in a herringbone pattern as a practical and attractive centre piece to walk through and relax on with a table and chairs in the Summer sun. The surrounding plants soften the edges of the hardstanding areas as they grow and flow over the clay edges linking the materials together effortlessly. The mixture of neutral colours chosen throughout the materials compliment the natural colours of the planting. Bespoke steel goal posts were manufactured and installed which subtly act as a continuation from inside to out whilst framing the garden as a whole.
